Last week our year 5 and 6 students travelled to the Sir Peter Blake Marine Education and Recreation Centre (MERC) in Long Bay for three days.
While at camp we were lucky enough to participate in activities such as a rocky shore exploration, dune planting, sailing, raft building, archery, the giant's ladder and stack'em.
We all had an amazing time and have developed lots of new leadership, communication and cooperation skills. Some of us faced challenges when participating in the activities but with lots of perseverance and resilience, we achieved some pretty amazing things!

ReplyDeleteHow exciting to start the term off with camp! Thanks for sharing your photos. Great to hear that although there were challenges, you showed perseverance and resilience. I would have especially enjoyed the sailing and raft building. What was the giants ladder?
